Sport Specific Training

Crossfit St. Catharines offers an off season training program that is designed to fit the needs of your athletes for individual physical development and for team cohesion. We combine the constantly varied, functional movement, performed at high intensity theory of crossfit with sport specific training to provide athletes with a fun program that will translate to better performance in their sport.

Some of the important skills that will be developed to crossover from off season training to in season training and competition include:

At Crossfit St. Catharines our well-rounded, competent coaches will improve these skills while maintaining a safe and controlled environment. Our programming allows for a way to develop the athlete with technique driven training that promotes kinaesthetic awareness, midline stability, and prevents injuries.

Athletes will work individually and in groups to promote team building. It’s not only important for the athletes to learn about themselves and develop physically but our goal is also to work alongside the coach’s foundation to develop the mental game too.
